Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026. These terms will be reviewed and finalised by Sprintlaw before public launch.
1. About MyFameDay
MyFameDay is a free-to-enter Australian daily spotlight draw platform operated by MyFameDay (ABN registered, sole trader). The platform is available at myfameday.com and is open to Australian residents aged 18 and over.
The MyFameDay spotlight draw is a trade promotion. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary at any stage. Fame — in the form of a 24-hour public spotlight — is the prize for standard draw days.
2. Eligibility
To enter the MyFameDay draw you must:
— Be an Australian resident at the time of entry
— Be 18 years of age or older
— Own and control the social media account(s) you submit
— Have a public social media profile on at least one submitted platform
— Submit genuine, accurate information about yourself or your business
— Agree to these Terms & Conditions at time of entry
Employees of MyFameDay and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
3. How to enter
Entry is via the online entry form at myfameday.com/enter. To complete a valid entry you must provide your name, a hook bio, at least one public social media profile link, and complete all required declarations and consent checkboxes.
One entry per person or business. A person may enter either themselves or their business, not both. Entries that share an email address, phone number, or social account with an existing entry will be flagged for review.
All social media profiles submitted must be owned and actively controlled by the entrant at the time of entry and at the time of winning. Submitting a profile belonging to another person, brand, or public figure — whether or not that person is known to the entrant — is grounds for immediate disqualification and permanent removal from the draw pool.
Entry activates upon email verification. Unverified entries are not eligible for the draw.
4. The draw
One winner is drawn at random from all active, eligible entrants daily at midnight AEDT. The draw uses a verifiable randomness method. The random seed and draw timestamp are published to the Fame Archive immediately when the draw runs.
Entrants remain in the pool for every draw until they win, voluntarily remove their entry, or are removed for a terms violation. There is no need to re-enter daily.
5. Winner verification
Every winner is subject to a 24-hour verification process before their spotlight goes live. A winner will be disqualified and a redraw conducted if their account is found to contain or promote any of the following:
— Hate speech, discrimination, or vilification on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or any other protected attribute
— Violence, threats, or incitement to violence against any person or group
— Terrorism, extremism, or content that supports or glorifies acts of terror or mass violence
— Full nudity or sexually explicit content
— Content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors in any way
— Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of any individual
— Misinformation or content designed to deceive
— Illegal activity or content that facilitates illegal acts
— Impersonation of another person, brand, or public figure
Disqualification also applies if the account is private, deactivated, suspended, or owned by a person under 18.
6. The spotlight
The spotlight runs for 24 hours from midnight AEDT on the day following the draw. The winner's profile is featured on the MyFameDay homepage, in the daily draw result email, and across MyFameDay's own social channels.
The spotlight runs automatically. No action is required from the winner for fame-only draw days. Winners are not directly notified — the daily draw result email directs all active entrants to check the spotlight page.
7. Prize draws
On days where a physical or digital prize is attached to the draw, the winner must claim the prize within 30 days by logging into their registered entry dashboard at myfameday.com/my-entry. Failure to claim within this window results in forfeiture.
Prize draws may require additional compliance steps under applicable state trade promotion legislation.
8. Fame Archive
Every winner's name, bio, entry type, win date, and social profile links are published permanently in the Fame Archive at myfameday.com/archive. By entering, you consent to this publication if selected as a winner.
A winner may request removal of their name and photo from their archive entry at any time by contacting contact@myfameday.com. The win date and the fact that a draw occurred on that date are always retained.
9. Entry management
Entrants may update their bio, social links, and profile photo at any time via the self-serve entry dashboard at myfameday.com/my-entry. Access is via magic link — no password required.
Entrants may remove their entry at any time. Removal takes effect immediately.
10. Prohibited content and conduct
MyFameDay reserves the right to remove any entry at any time for conduct inconsistent with these Terms. The following are strictly prohibited:
— Fake, bot, or automated accounts
— Multiple accounts from the same person or business
— False eligibility declarations
— Any content listed in Section 5
— Coordinated attempts to manipulate the draw pool or boost auction
— Any attempt to defraud MyFameDay or other users
Removal is permanent. Removed entrants may contest the decision by emailing contact@myfameday.com within 14 days.
11. Sponsors
Sponsors co-feature alongside the daily spotlight winner and purchase media space and association only. Sponsors never influence the draw outcome or any entrant's odds.
Sponsor placement is clearly labelled as paid placement. Sponsors are subject to the same content restrictions outlined in Section 5 and Section 10.
12. Boosted slots
MyFameDay offers a daily auction for up to three boosted visibility slots on the homepage. Boosted slots are a paid advertising placement only — they do not influence, improve, or affect the odds of the boosted profile winning the daily spotlight draw.
To bid for a boosted slot, you must be an active entrant with a verified email address. Your payment method is authorised at the time of bidding but is only charged if your bid is among the three highest at auction close.
The auction for each date closes at 11:59pm AEST the night before the selected boost date. The three highest bids at close win the slots. In the event of tied bids, the earlier bid takes priority.
MyFameDay reserves the right to disqualify any boosted slot without refund if the profile contains prohibited content. In the event of a technical failure that prevents a boosted slot from displaying, a full refund will be issued.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, MyFameDay is not liable for: technical failures affecting entry submission or draw execution; loss or damage arising from reliance on the platform; or any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from participation.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
14. Privacy
MyFameDay collects personal information for the purpose of running the draw and featuring winners. Information is not sold or shared with third parties. Full details are set out in the MyFameDay Privacy Policy at myfameday.com/privacy.
15. Changes to these terms
MyFameDay reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the daily draw result email with reasonable notice.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
17. Contact
For any questions about these Terms, contact MyFameDay at contact@myfameday.com.
Note: These Terms are a working draft. They will be reviewed and finalised by Sprintlaw before any real public entries are accepted or prizes offered.
