Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026. This policy will be reviewed and finalised by Sprintlaw before public launch.

1. Who we are
MyFameDay is operated by Anthony Sam-Hong, sole trader, ABN registered, based in Sydney, NSW, Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and store your personal information when you use myfameday.com.
2. What we collect
We collect: your name, email address, and phone number (optional) when you submit an entry; your social media profile URLs; your profile photo if you upload one; your hook bio; technical information such as browser type and IP address when you visit the site; and reaction and click data associated with draw days.
3. Why we collect it
We collect personal information to: operate the daily spotlight draw; verify your identity and eligibility; display your profile if you win; send you the daily draw result email (if you opt in); and contact you if you win a prize that requires delivery.
4. How we store it
Your data is stored securely in Supabase (hosted in Sydney, Australia). Profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We use Cloudflare for DNS and CDN services. We do not store payment card details — all payments are processed by Stripe.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We share limited data with: Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Stripe (payment processing if you bid for a boosted slot), and Cloudflare (DNS and security). Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policy and handles data only as required to provide their services.
6. Winner publication
If you win the daily spotlight draw, your name, bio, entry type, social profile links, and profile photo will be published on the MyFameDay homepage for 24 hours and permanently in the Fame Archive at myfameday.com/archive. By entering, you consent to this publication. You may request removal of your name and photo from the archive at any time by emailing contact@myfameday.com.
7. Email communications
If you opt in at the time of entry, we will send you a daily draw result email from noreply@myfameday.com. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. Unsubscribing removes you from the email list only — not from the draw pool.
8. Cookies and analytics
We use minimal analytics to understand how the site is used. No cross-site tracking cookies are set. Cloudflare may set security cookies necessary for site operation. We do not use Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.
9. Your rights
You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request deletion of your information; and withdraw consent for email communications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@myfameday.com.
10. Data retention
Active entrant data is retained for as long as your entry is active. If you remove your entry, your data is deactivated immediately. Fame Archive entries (winner records) are retained indefinitely as a public record of the draw, though your name and photo can be redacted on request.
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the database is restricted to authorised personnel only.
12. Children
MyFameDay is not directed at children. Entry requires you to be 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the daily draw result email with reasonable notice.
14. Contact
For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at contact@myfameday.com.
Note: This Privacy Policy is a working draft and will be reviewed by Sprintlaw before public launch.
